[Excerpt] At the recent of the General Synod it was approved that thcre be and is hereby set up as a board "to be known as the Board of Governors of St.Jtephen's and Queen Victoria Schools which Board shall take over the management and control of the said schools and the ownership and control of all assets held upun trust for such schools. That Synod respectfully requests and authorises the Primate to appoint to the above mentioned Board nine members and the Primate shall be at liberty to seek advice in his selection of members from such persons as he shall think fit including the Native Schools Trust Board and the Management Committee of the said schools....
