Board welcomes interest from St Stephen’s School Alumni - 22 May 03
The Stephen’s and Queen Victoria Schools Trust Board welcomes the interest being shown by a group of St Stephen’s alumni, or Old Boys, and looks forward to meeting with their representatives, the board confirmed today. A hui of St Stephen’s alumni has been called at Te Ohaaki marae on Saturday 24 May, 2003 to discuss strategies to re-open the school at its Bombay site.

Mataariki - A Maori Education Initiative - 12 Dec 02
The St Stephen’s and Queen Victoria Schools Trust Board is to replace the former Maori boys’and girls’ boarding schools with a network of new schools in Auckland. The Trust Board has decided on a completely new approach to discharge its obligations to provide educational opportunities to young Maori women and men, and is developing what it calls the Mataariki philosophy.
